2nd Annual Seafood Dinner! February 20th, 5:30-10PM
American Legion, 800 Romancoke Rd., Stevensville
$45 minimum donation per person.
Chesapeake Cats and Dogs has been selected as a “rescue rewards partner” at An Act of Dog – Museum of Compassion! Please be sure to check them out!
“Our project was created to fund the needs of these animals and all of the groups involved in saving them. Sadly, these crucial organizations are severely underfunded and cannot afford to save them all without our collective support. Our rewards donations allow them to pull shelter animals to safety, but the costs to keep these animals healthy and with good medical care, can run into the thousands for just one animal.
Every product saves a shelter animal!
When you buy one of our products, we give 100% of the proceeds from your purchase to the 100 rescue organizations in our partner program from all 50 states. Donations are distributed to them twice a year.”

Thanks to everyone who volunteered, donated plants, bought plants or stopped by. With your help, CCAD had a very successful 6th annual plant sale! MANY thanks to the following businesses for their plant donations for our Plants for the Pets sale last Saturday: Nash’s Plant Farm, An Eastridge Garden, Shore Blooms, Murdoch Florists & Greenhouses, Island Flowers & Flavors, The Flower Shop, Farmer John’s Produce, Wildflower Nursery, True Value, Centreville Acme Markets, Target Easton, Sam’s Club (Annapolis), Greenwood Creek Nursery, Unity Church Hill Nursery, Knopp’s Farm, Kingstown Farm Home & Garden, Price & Gannon. Also a big THANK YOU to Bill M. and Erica S., who donated a trailer full of plants and adopted 2 kittens on Saturday.
On April 11th and 12th, CCAD was invited to help Shipwrecked celebrate their Grand Opening Weekend. Shipwrecked also organized a raffle to benefit us, as well as allowing us space for a mini yard-sale and to show some of our adoptable cats and dogs. We always appreciate the support of local businesses and wish Shipwrecked success!
