Announcing… our future: the Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary!

  • We were featured on ABC2’s IN FOCUS program on July 30th! Please CLICK HERE to watch the coverage.

Chesapeake Cats and Dogs has been serving our community for nearly 10 years as a lifetime haven and no-kill rescue for homeless cats and dogs. Now it’s time to for us to GROW! We are working to turn this c.1900 farmhouse into the Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary, which will enable us to fill the ever-growing needs of our community. We want to be able to help more cats and dogs. We want to help people who come to us in tears and say, “I can’t keep my dog or cat any longer, but I want to know they’ll be safe and cared for”. Please help us say YES to more people in need.

Our Indiegogo fundraising campaign for the new Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary behind Chesapeake College is now in its FINAL WEEK! Please CLICK HERE to help us reach our goal!

Our future goal is to eventually build a NEW, state-of-the-art home for our furry friends on this 5-1/2 acre site right here adjacent to Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland. This new center will include medical treatment rooms, training & educational areas, as well as comfortable sleeping areas and outdoor play spaces for the animals.

Also, please share our campaign on your Facebook page to help us get the word out!! You can cut and paste this link in emails and such: Please also print and distribute this flyer: click here to download.
