Chesapeake Cats and Dogs: A life of love and dignity for all animals

fundraisingAs a not-for-profit organization, Chesapeake Cats and Dogs relies on fundraising events and donations to survive. At this time, we are in need for volunteers to help with fundraising events, adoption shows, and to help clean our cat adoption center. We also need donations to help pay for our expenses, which include: rent for our cat adoption center, veterinarian bills, food and litter, and cleaning supplies. Please consider whether you can help us in our mission to provide a life of love and dignity for all cats and dogs. Checks can be mailed to: 300A Island Professional Park, Stevensville, MD 21666; or you can donate online by clicking here.

The cats and dogs in our care thank you for your support!

We Can Do It! (But we need YOUR help!)

Did you know that April is National Volunteer Month? We are a volunteer-run organization that has found homes for over 600 cats and more than 350 dogs! We believe that all cats and dogs deserve the chance to find good, loving homes. We are a no-kill rescue, and we need your help! Please click here to download our volunteer application.

Our urgent volunteer needs at this time are: staffing our feline adoption center on Saturdays, people to come clean and feed the cats in the adoption center in the evenings; dog fosters; and people to transport dogs to and from adoption shows.

In particular, we desperately need people to staff the feline adoption center on Tuesday, every other Thursday, Saturday, every other Sunday, nights; and Friday nights starting May 1st. This involves: scooping litter, cleaning messes on floors/walls/etc., refilling water dishes and dry food dishes, and feeding the cats wet food.

The cats there rely on us. Please consider whether you can spare an evening or two a few times a month to help care for our cats. Thank you!
