ccad-logoChesapeake Cats and Dogs is a 501C(3) non-profit lifetime haven and no-kill animal rescue organization. CCAD formed in 2006 and consists of a dedicated group of volunteers “working to provide a life of love and dignity for all animals”. We have found homes for over 2,000 cats and dogs. Our cats are housed primarily in group rooms in our Tree of Life Pet Sanctuary, while our young kittens and dogs are in foster homes or at Dandyland Pet Care Center in Centreville.

We are a no-kill animal rescue and a network partner of Best Friends Animal Society. When we take in an animal, they are with us until we can place them in a good, loving home. To do this, we rely on regular adoptions and volunteers! There are many ways to help these animals; please consider opening your hearts to these cats and dogs who only want what we all do: to be happy, safe, and loved.
